Our Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Ajit Pawar passed away on January 28th 2026 in a tragic plane crash with 4 others Sumit Kapoor (pilot in command), Shambhavi Pathak (Co-Pilot), Pinky Mali (Flight attendant), Vidip Jadav (Personal security Officer) while the private charter flight was attempting to make a second approach of landing on Baramati Airport Runaway probably due to Low visibility. My Heartfelt condolences to the families of the departed, May god give them the strength to bear the personal loss and may each of the souls ascend the higher worlds.
Shri Ajit Pawar was the longest serving Deputy Chief Minister in the History of Maharashtra (6 times) while he was elected 8 times from Baramati constituency (1991-2024). He has never lost any election personally which clearly shows his caliber. I will be writing this astrological analysis on the Hon. Deputy C.M Shri Ajit Pawar ji’s horoscope. I do not possess the details of those who passed away in the crash else it would have been a conclusive study of how destiny brings all together.

- Born in a small Town in Ahilyanagar district
- Hails from a family with political background however, Parents were not politically active.
- Father passed away early when he was only 18 years of age.
- He has 2 siblings, one brother who passed away in 2017 and one sister who is alive.
- He dropped out from college after his father’s death to help is family (incomplete education).
- Entered Politics in 1982 at the age of 23.
- Marriage at the age of 26
- Elected for the Lok Sabha from Baramati Constituency in 1991 from where his rise began. Held portfolios: Finance, Irrigation, Water Resources, Agriculture, Rural Development, Planning.
He was a workaholic and worked for 16-17 hours daily under intense administrative pressure and was very famous to start his work at 5:30 early morning until midnight. He was an able administrator and knew how to get things done.

It should be noted that his moon is aspected by 4 planets Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars. All planets aspecting moon creates a rajyoga. Such people live a royal life and become like a king. Venus the lagna lord too is posited in the Royal sign LEO VARGOTTAMA and sun is placed in the 10th house which adds to the success and good position from struggle. Lagna or Lagna lord Vargottama makes one a leader or important person in the family.
Moon as the 10th lord here is afflicted in the 5th house debilitated in the navamsha and also by aspect of saturn and mars in d1 did not give him the desired rise, He never became the Chief Minister of Maharashtra state even though he was very capable. The aspect of benefics reducted the negative effects of saturn/mars aspects and still gave a decent rise.
This combination creates psychological issues or gives mental stress/pressure. Moon in the sign of saturn aspected by saturn and mars made him a workaholic and probably. He carried emotional pressure and burdens privately, he may have suffered depression at some point but kept himself busy to avoid the inner emptiness and struggle. The aspect of benefics on the moon made him successfully overcome the inner struggle.
His blunt speech, controversial statements and brash approach can be due to moon aspected by two malefics and mars aspecting 2nd house from both lagna and the moon.
A very important point to note that his lagna and moon both are in vaayu rashi, he was extremely intelligent even though he had less education.
The dispositor of 9th house lord afflicted in the 5th house he lost his father early and this may have resulted in trauma and added family responsibility.
Jupiter had become direct just before 2 days of his birth. Mercury is going to be retrograde just the next day after his birth which means both planets have very less gati and almost Stambhi or Stationary in motion. This may be the reason that his Mercury-Jupiter dasha gave bad results. It was also the 5th dasha in vimshottari showing troubles/peeda. 8th lord Venus conjoined Mars in agni rashi probably indicates the violent death, it is also in the simha navamsha with sun again agni tattva active. The 3rd house 8th from the 8th also carries saturn in agni rashi.
His Political Journey started in the Dasha of Jupiter-Mars in 1991 but Major rise was in the dasha of saturn from 1994 to 2013. The dasha chiddra of saturn also made him resign from the post of Deputy CM, saturn is in Moola nakshatra brought him to the mool pada, the rise and fall both happened in Saturn dasha.
He was embroiled in a Irrigation project scam worth 35-70 thousand crore in the Saturn-Rahu period from 2009. Court case followed for 6 years from Saturn-Jupiter. One most notable feature regarding death was he had Mars+Pluto conjoined in his horoscope and on the day of death Mars and pluto both happened to be at the same degree in Makar rashi which struck me as a key transit. Moon in transit was passing through the 8th house on this day in Krittika nakshatra which is again agni nakshatra.
